ERASMUS + PROJECT Buzau-Romania

From 19th to 26th of October 2019 the group Erasmus + “Cultural Heritage a link to the past a bridge to the future “ made up by 7 students and 3 teachers, coordinated by Concetta Noto, went to Buzau in Romania.
The group visited the capital city Bucharest and some of the most important sites of the region linked to the theme of the project “ Cultural Heritage”.
It was an impressive experience also due to the remarkable hospitality and kindness of the Romanian partners.
The group compared traditions and culture and also history increasing their cultural knowledge in order to continue to develop as European Citizens.

FIRST MEETING IN ITALY

-The first meeting of our project “Cultural Heritage: A link to the past…a bridge to the future”, begins in Italy with a guided tour of the City of Palermo. We visited Norman, Arabic and Baroque monuments, churches and squares. Our students gave detailed information about the history and evolution of the city. -The official meeting begins when the Italian coordinator, Mrs Noto, together with our headmistress, Mrs. Gibilaro welcome and greet all the school- partners. Each partner presents a video or power point showing something about their country and how this is linked to the topic of the project. A musical interlude followed by typical folklore dances, the recital of Sicilian poems and an exhibition of local arts are presented to the guests.ERASMUS +
